Kmart is located in all of the continental United States, as well as Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

Kmart is seeking candidates to enter our Management Training Program. Individuals should have a genuine interest in retail merchandising and management. Management Trainees undergo an intensive hands-on, 12-week orientation period. They are involved in all areas of store operations in acquainting themselves with the fast paced environment of retail, as well as policies and procedures of the company. The trainee will experience many different aspects of retailing including merchandising, receiving, human resources, customer service, and store financials. Upon successful completion, the trainee will be promoted to a Sales or Support Coach. Future promotions are based on individual performance and can lead to positions including Store Coach, District Coach and other areas in the company.

Qualifications
Kmart is seeking individuals with leadership skills and the ability to assume a greater level of responsibility.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with an emphasis in Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, or Liberal Arts. Previous retail experience is helpful, but not required. Candidates must be open to relocation.
