If you’re considering the retail industry or a career as a buyer, then the Sears Holdings Buyer’s Apprentice Internship Program may be the
smartest choice you can make. You’ll get hands-on experience right where the action is. This 12-week assignment is designed to give you a
feel for the retail industry, and the buyer life cycle such as Merchandise Selection & Development, Assortment Planning, Pricing &
Promotion Strategy, Merchandising Assortment Planning and In Store Execution.

What You’ll Do During the Summer
Our interns spend their time working in our corporate office, seeing first-hand what goes into a successful retail business. You will
be assigned specific projects through the 12-week internship. You’ll have the opportunity to shadow a seasoned buyer of Sears
Holdings and participate in their day-to-day responsibilities. Your internship will include a variety of learning formats such as: formal facilitator led training, self paced training, shadowing, field trips, etc., that will provide you a complete picture of what buyers at Sears Holdings concur each day.
What You’ll Do Later
Upon successful completion of your internship, you may receive an offer to join our Buyer Apprentice Program.
